LinkedIn has no native export for your saved posts. The free PostMind Chrome extension lets you back up all your saved posts to a portable JSON file in 3 steps — keeping your curated knowledge safe even if LinkedIn changes or you lose access.

LinkedIn's saved posts feature is a powerful curation tool — but LinkedIn provides no official way to export or back up what you've saved. If you lose account access, LinkedIn changes the feature, or you simply want to use your saved content in other tools, your curated archive could disappear overnight.
PostMind solves this with a free Chrome extension that reads your saved posts directly from the LinkedIn page and exports them as a structured JSON file you own. No API keys, no subscriptions for the export — just a clean backup you control.
Download the free extension (no account needed) and load it into Chrome via chrome://extensions → Load unpacked. It's ~8 KB and runs only on LinkedIn.
Navigate to linkedin.com/my-items/saved-posts and click the PostMind icon in your Chrome toolbar. Hit Collect — PostMind captures all visible saved posts including author, content, and metadata. Scroll down to load more, collect again, repeat.
Once collected, click Download JSON to save your LinkedIn saved posts as a clean, structured file on your computer. Each post includes text, author, date, URL, and extracted topics — your complete off-platform backup.
LinkedIn's native data download (Settings → Data Privacy → Get a copy of your data) does not include saved posts. This is a known gap. The PostMind extension reads your saved posts directly from the LinkedIn page and exports them client-side — no API access, no terms violation.
Each saved post record includes: post text/content, author name and URL, post URL, date saved, and extracted topics. The file is clean, structured JSON that can be opened in any text editor, imported into spreadsheets, or processed by scripts.
Yes — downloading and exporting to JSON is completely free and requires no account. The free extension also works offline after installation. PostMind Pro ($9/mo) adds MCP server access so you can query your saved posts with Claude, ChatGPT, or any AI tool.
LinkedIn loads saved posts in batches. To capture all of them: scroll down to load more posts, then click Collect again. Repeat until you've loaded everything. Each Collect run merges new posts into the same collection, so you won't get duplicates.

The free export gives you the JSON file. PostMind Pro adds an MCP server that connects directly to Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, and any MCP-compatible AI — so you can ask questions, surface insights, and build agents grounded in your own curated content.
