LinkedIn has no export for saved posts — its own data download returns IDs and URLs without the post text. ContexIn collects them with a free Chrome extension, enriches each one into named fields with verbatim quotes, and serves them to Claude or any MCP client. Every answer cites the post it came from.

Download the zip and unzip the folder anywhere on your computer.
Open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, click Load unpacked, and pick the unzipped folder.
Open linkedin.com/my-items/saved-posts, scroll to load what you want, click the ContexIn icon, then Collect and Download JSON.
LinkedIn paginates saved posts and the extension reads only what is rendered. Scroll, collect again — duplicates are merged.
01 why a plain export is not enough
Paste a flat dump of 200 posts into a chat window and the answers arrive confident and wrong: authors invented, two people's claims merged into one sentence, no way to check any of it. Nothing in the data says who claimed what.
ContexIn stores each saved post as a post record: the raw fields plus derived ones. The derived fields are always labelled as derived, and the verbatim quotes and source URL travel with every record, so an answer can cite rather than paraphrase.
