LinkedIn saved posts to Notion
Bring the post text, authors and source links you collected into a Notion database. ContexIn exports JSON; Notion imports CSV. This free converter connects those 2 steps without a terminal or an account.
Already have a ContexIn JSON export? Choose it below. Otherwise, follow the free extension installation and collection guide first. The Chrome extension reads only saved posts you load on LinkedIn and never writes to LinkedIn.
Up to 5 MB. Conversion happens in this browser. Your file and post content are not sent to ContexIn.
Your original JSON stays unchanged. No sign-in or payment required.
01 import
Import the CSV on desktop
- In Notion on desktop or web, open Settings → Import → CSV. You can also type
/csvon a page. - Choose
contexin-saved-posts-notion.csv, then select a new database and its location. Start with a small export to check the result. - Map
Nameto the title property. Keep post text and authors as Text; use URL properties for source links. - Open a row and check its text, author and LinkedIn link against your JSON. A database row becomes a page, but post text stays in a property.
Notion receives the CSV only when you import it yourself. Decide who can read the destination database before adding your saved posts. ContexIn does not connect to your Notion workspace or import on your behalf.
02 fields
Keep text as text and links as links
| Name | Title. A preview of the first 120 characters; the full exported text remains in postText. |
| postText | Text. The captured post content, not a summary or a new Notion page body. |
| authorName / authorHeadline | Text. Author names are not Notion workspace Person identities. |
| postUrl / sourcePage | URL. Links to the source, not downloaded media or LinkedIn previews. |
| timestamp | Text. The visible post timestamp may say 2w; it is not the date you saved the post. |
| collectedAt / id | Text. Preserve the collection time and exported identifier. Neither is Notion’s Created time. |

What this conversion does not do
The converter accepts the JSON array from ContexIn, not LinkedIn’s official saved-items CSV or an arbitrary JSON file. Missing metadata becomes an empty cell. Link-only records keep their URL even when no text was captured. It adds no topics, summaries or inferred dates.
UTF-8 CSV quoting retains commas, quotation marks and any line breaks already present in your export. Collection currently flattens whitespace, so conversion cannot restore original paragraph breaks or missing post text.
Cells starting with formula-like characters get a leading apostrophe for safer spreadsheet handling. You may see that apostrophe in Notion. Other exported field text is retained.
Notion’s documented CSV limits are 5 MB per file on Free and 50 MB on paid plans. This converter stays within 5 MB. If the result is larger, export a smaller batch.
Import into a new database first. Merge with CSV appends rows; it does not deduplicate or update existing posts by their identifier. Reimporting the same export can create duplicates.
CSV does not bring across images, video, comments, formulas or rollups. LinkedIn links remain links, and access to the original post still depends on LinkedIn.

Notion for browsing, ContexIn for questions
Notion is a good fit when you want to tag, sort and read your saved posts yourself. If you want your AI client to retrieve them with source links, you can keep the same JSON export and use ContexIn.
The extension and local MCP server are free forever. The hosted endpoint offers a 7-day trial without a card. Lifetime hosted access costs $5, paid once. Check your client’s connection requirements before starting; sharing lists is not available yet.
